Marketing Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing Renewal Oasis Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other approved social media platforms.
• Create and schedule engaging posts, reels, videos, stories, and announcements.
• Develop a consistent social media presence that reflects the organizations mission and values.
• Promote fundraising campaigns, events, sponsorship opportunities, volunteer opportunities, and community partnerships.
• Monitor comments and messages and refer inquiries requiring leadership response to the appropriate board member.
• Track basic engagement and growth metrics.
• Develop content that tells the Renewal Oasis story and highlights its mission and impact.
• Create educational and inspirational content related to housing instability, womens empowerment, life transitions, and community support.
• Develop testimonials, success stories, volunteer spotlights, donor recognition, and partner highlights when appropriate and with proper consent.
• Assist with photography and video content for events and campaigns.

Requirements

• Passion for the mission of Renewal Oasis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative and comfortable developing social media content.
• Organized and dependable.
• Comfortable working independently.
• Professional and compassionate communication style.
• Understanding of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
• Experience with Canva is preferred.
• Marketing, communications, public relations, nonprofit, or social media experience required
