Job Summary

Own the end-to-end website content and campaign asset coordination for a conservation-focused nonprofit, turning strategy into accessible, on-brand experiences that engage audiences and drive conversions across web and email channels.

  • Website content & UX: write, update, and optimize pages, ensure voice, SEO visibility, and consistency across the site.
  • Campaign execution & assets: translate strategy into briefs, coordinate copy/graphics, review deliverables, and oversee asset management and cross-channel deployment.
  • Content repurposing & analytics: adapt content for emails, blogs, and social, track performance, and support reporting for continuous improvement.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Write compelling website content that is accurate, user-friendly, and strategically aligned to support campaign messaging, audience engagement, and conversion goals
  • Manage routine website updates including event pages, seasonal promotions, program descriptions, and campaign landing pages
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Director to optimize website content for user experience, search visibility, and conversion performance
  • Ensure consistency in messaging, voice, and branding across all web content
  • Develop project-level creative briefs that align with defined campaign strategy
  • Coordinate the development of marketing assets including copy, graphics, signage, and digital materials
  • Review creative deliverables to ensure they align with brand standards and campaign goals
  • Support asset organization and file management across marketing systems
  • Support the implementation of integrated marketing campaigns by translating strategy into actionable deliverables and coordinating execution across channels
  • Support the Marketing Manager with the development and deployment of email newsletters, blogs, publications, and digital campaigns
  • Assist with content development for email marketing, website, and promotional materials
  • Help translate scientific, conservation, and programmatic content into engaging, accessible messaging for public audiences
  • Contribute to campaign planning, brainstorming, and content development sessions
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on marketing materials and digital content to ensure accuracy, functionality, and brand alignment prior to launch
  • Support content repurposing efforts by adapting campaign content across channels to maximize reach and effectiveness
  • Assist with gathering and organizing campaign performance data to support reporting and continuous improvement
  • Assist with special projects, as assigned
  • Support the intake and organization of marketing requests, ensuring clear communication, proper scoping, and alignment with team priorities
  • Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and communication between Marketing, Creative Services, and external vendors
  • Ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet quality and brand standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 2–3 years of professional experience in marketing, digital content, or communications
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with attention to tone and detail
  • Experience managing website content and supporting digital marketing initiatives
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to build effective working relationships
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals
  • Interest in conservation, education, and mission-driven work
  • Project management tools (Monday.com or similar)
  • Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Content management systems (WordPress or similar CMS)
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing channels and workflows

Preferred

  • Spanish language skills preferred to support engagement with diverse audiences
  • Experience in nonprofit organizations, cultural institutions, tourism, or hospitality
  • Experience working with creative teams or developing creative briefs
  • Familiarity with campaign execution across email, web, and digital marketing channels
  • Background or coursework related to environmental science, conservation, or education
  • Experience supporting event or program marketing initiatives
  • Email marketing platforms (Brevo or similar ESPs)
  • Digital asset management systems
  • Google Analytics or basic performance reporting tools
  • Adobe familiarity a plus, but not required
