Job Summary

Own in-store execution and cross-channel support for a Boston market marketing program, focused on events, education, and local partnerships.

  • Own in-store activation and signage coordination with Brand East Coast to meet timelines, budgets, and goals.
  • Coordinate social content and local events with the store and social teams to drive guest engagement.
  • Develop partner relationships with chefs, producers, and local organizations to enable activations and collaborations.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The Marketing Coordinator supports the execution of the marketing plans in the Boston stores. Not limited to events, education, community relations, and graphics. Reports directly to the Director of Store Operations.
  • Working with Director of Brand – East Coast to ensure the defined strategies and initiatives are correctly executed within the Boston store according to the agreed upon timelines, budgets and goals.
  • Ensures in-store communication is up to standard and follows the brand guidelines.
  • Utilizes the tools and systems provided to support signage production as needed and oversees in-store installations (signage, visual merchandising, etc).
  • Supports Social Media team to produce store-related social media content when needed, from copy to images (ie. Photoshoots).
  • Works with Social Media team to ensure marketing and events initiatives are properly promoted by providing needed details and content.
  • Collaborate to manage relationships with celebrity chefs, business partners, producers, and local organizations
  • Supports administrative tasks such as regularly compiling and tracking data on marketing initiatives and activations
  • Works with the Events & Education and store teams to plan and execute in-store and off-site public events.
  • Support Events & Education team with execution of La Scuola consumer programming as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing.
  • Event planning experience is considered an asset.
  • Experience in the food and beverage industry is preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills.
  • Outstanding professional communication and editorial skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of Eventbrite, OpenTable platform is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of and contacts in the Boston food industry is considered an asset.

Preferred

  • Event planning experience is considered an asset
  • Experience in the food and beverage industry is preferred
