Job Summary

Own and optimize the email marketing automation program, collaborating with the Research Quest Digital Engagement Team to design campaigns, build workflows, and analyze results.

  • Develop and implement automated email campaigns (triggered and calendar-driven) to drive engagement.
  • Build and document workflows and reports to inform improvements.
  • Proactively learn new tools and contribute to cross-team creative strategies.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Email Marketing: Assist in refining and implementing automated email campaigns aimed at boosting engagement with teachers and middle school students nationwide.
  • Creative Collaboration: Work alongside the Research Quest Digital Engagement Team to develop innovative strategies that elevate Research Quest's visibility and impact.
  • Position Responsibilities will Include: Developing proficiency in the general use of SharpSpring, Constant Contact's Enterprise Solution
  • Strategically developing automatic email campaigns - both triggered and calendar-balanced - to drive traffic back to Research Quest and increase user activity
  • Designing emails for the email campaigns
  • Building automation workflows, including logic paths for each campaign
  • Reading and analyzing reports on campaigns
  • Documenting workflows, insights, and results

Requirements

  • EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor's degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).
  • Department may hire employee at one of the following job levels: Marketing Communication Specialist, I: Requires a bachelor's (or equivalency) + 2 years of directly related work experience or a master's (or equivalency) degree.
  • Detail oriented, with strong time management, prioritization skills, and project management
  • Self-motivated and eager to develop new skills

Preferred

  • Experience: Previous internships or relevant projects are advantageous but not required.
  • Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong written communication and data analysis skills Comfort learning new software Ability to conceptualize and track complex systems
  • Attributes: Proactive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Graduate student or Junior/Senior Undergraduate studying communications and marketing is preferred
  • Detail oriented, with strong time management, prioritization skills, and project management
  • A high level of flexibility, persistence, and dependability
