Job Summary

Own the on the-ground brand presence in Illinois by educating budtenders, running in-store activations, and gathering field insights that feed the marketing loop.

  • Brand field ownership: dispenses relationships with staff and buyers to lift awareness and sales velocity.
  • Activation and storytelling: execute compliant activations and communicate Sol Canna origin and differentiators with authenticity.
  • Feedback loop and reporting: collect competitive intel and field signals, track visits and engagement, and relay insights to the broader team.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Represent Sol Canna at dispensary accounts across Illinois, conducting budtender education sessions and product trainings
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dispensary staff, buyers, and managers to drive brand awareness and sales velocity
  • Execute in-store activations, sampling events, and pop-up brand experiences in compliance with Illinois cannabis regulations
  • Monitor shelf presence, product placement, and merchandising standards at retail partner locations
  • Gather competitive intelligence and consumer feedback from the field and relay insights to the broader team
  • Track visit frequency, account health, and budtender engagement activity using CRM or reporting tools
  • Represent Sol Canna at industry events, trade shows, and cannabis community activations
  • Serve as a brand storyteller — communicating the Sol Canna origin story, cultivar philosophy, and product differentiators with authenticity and enthusiasm
  • Support the planning and execution of Sol Canna's marketing calendar, including product launches, seasonal campaigns, and wholesale promotions
  • Coordinate content production across digital channels including Instagram, Facebook, and the Sol Canna website (sol-canna.com)
