Job Description

Own the community marketing and engagement engine, coordinating events, programs, and partner relationships to drive member participation and brand presence locally.

  • Responsibilities Lead the Community Center's marketing and social media efforts
  • Plan, coordinate, and promote community programs and special events
  • Teach group fitness classes and/or provide personal training within six months of hire
  • Create flyers, graphics, newsletters, and promotional materials
  • Build relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community partners
  • Serve as Manager on Duty and assist with daily Community Center operations
  • Serve as the Responsible Pool Supervisor during assigned shifts
  • Provide exceptional customer service while supporting members, volunteers, and staff
  • Own the marketing and social media plan for the Community Center, including events and partner outreach
  • Lead program promotion and event coordination to drive member participation
  • Build relationships with local partners to expand reach and resources
  • Dependable, professional, and self-motivated
  • Organized with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable leading staff and making decisions independently
  • Creative and confident using social media and marketing tools
  • Friendly, energetic, and passionate about serving the community
  • Able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Group Fitness Instructor and/or Personal Trainer certification (or willingness to obtain within six months of hire)
  • Experience in marketing, communications, recreation, business, or a related field
  • Leadership or supervisory experience
  • Experience with Canva, Facebook, Instagram, Microsoft Office, and other marketing platforms
