Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Social Media - Manage HBA social media accounts by creating, scheduling, and publishing content across multiple platforms.
  • Develop engaging content that promotes HBA events, programs, member benefits, and community initiatives.
  • Monitor engagement and assist with maintaining an active online presence.
  • Track basic performance metrics and provide periodic reporting.
  • Digital Communications
  • Draft, format, and publish HBA's weekly Highlights email newsletter and monthly Bulletin newsletter.
  • Create and distribute email communications promoting events, programs, and organizational initiatives.
  • Assist with ensuring brand consistency across communications.
  • Monitor email performance and recommend improvements to increase engagement.
  • Graphic Design & Content Creation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, English, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, public relations, social media, or content creation.
  • Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
  • Experience creating content for social media, email marketing, and digital communications.
  • Proficiency with Canva (Adobe Creative Suite a plus).
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and proactively manage projects with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build productive working relationships across departments.
