Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the integrated promotional communications strategy and campaign plan for the assigned business segment ensuring alignment with the total marketing framework.
  • Define and develop messaging that translates clinical and technical product information into clear, differentiated content tailored for healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders (KOLs), patients, and the sales force, including patient education content.
  • Execute social media strategies and create compelling content for the assigned business segment across LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms, in compliance with ZB social media policies and FDA promotional guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain an advanced level of product knowledge for assigned brands in order to communicate product capabilities effectively and credibly for surgeon, hospital, health system, and patient audiences.
  • Own the creation and maintenance of all marketing materials and campaign assets for the assigned business segment to ensure version control, brand consistency, regulatory compliance, quality, and budget adherence.
  • Analyze competitive intelligence, market, and customer insight research to shape messaging strategy, identify promotional opportunities, and support go-to-market planning in partnership with upstream and downstream marketing teams.
  • Develop awareness and lead generation digital campaigns, including customer journey mapping and email nurture, and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities against the goals set forth within the strategy.
  • Lead the promotional presence for the assigned business segment at industry conferences, trade shows, and virtual or hybrid events, including product displays, business segment messaging, and lead generation tactics, in coordination with the broader MarCom team.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product Management, Clinical, Regulatory, Legal, Sales, and Corporate Comms to ensure all communications accurately reflect clinical value, meet compliance standards, and support the corporate strategy and commercial objectives.
  • Define and track KPIs for the assigned business segment (e.g., awareness, engagement, conversion, social media growth), maintain dashboards and performance summaries for leadership with actionable optimization recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience, or Associate's Degree and 6 years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 years of relevant experience required
  • Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Life Science, related industry, or Agency experience preferred
  • Proficiency in copywriting for traditional and social media communications preferred, including social media/digital execution in a regulated healthcare environment preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization and to manage agencies and multiple concurrent projects with speed and precision preferred

  • Market & Competitive Acumen – Applies market intelligence, customer insights, and knowledge of medical device and technology landscape, including competitive platforms, clinical evidence, and equipment sales cycles, to shape strategy and identify opportunities.
  • Ownership & Accountability – Thrives in high-visibility environments, owning outcomes for assigned segment, managing multiple priorities with speed and accountability while building processes. Defines/applies analytics to optimize effectiveness and demonstrate ROI.
