Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Defining and executing a bold, end-to-end marketing strategy that positions Subsense as a global leader in Brain-Computer Interfaces
  • Translating deep, complex neurotechnology into a clear, powerful narrative that resonates with media, partners, investors, and the broader tech and medical ecosystem
  • Owning our brand voice, positioning, and storytelling across all channels — digital, media, social, events, and thought leadership
  • Working closely with founders, scientists, product, and business teams to align breakthrough technology with breakthrough visibility
  • Shaping how the BCI market talks about itself by setting the category narrative, not following it
  • Monitoring industry trends, competitors, and emerging players to keep Subsense ahead of the curve — always
  • Building relationships with external partners, agencies, and media to amplify our presence and impact
  • Owning the marketing budget, measuring impact, and focusing on signal over noise
  • Building and leading a world-class marketing team as the company scales

Requirements

  • Proven experience in marketing leadership, ideally in deep tech, robotics, or other complex, science-driven industries
  • A strong ability to market technologies that don’t yet have a playbook
  • Experience building and scaling brands for breakthrough or frontier technologies
  • The ability to turn highly technical concepts into compelling, confident, world-class stories
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills — you can speak to scientists, executives, investors, and media with equal credibility
  • Experience working in early-stage or high-growth environments, where speed, ambiguity, and ownership are the norm
  • Strategic thinking combined with a hands-on, builder mindset
  • Comfort with high-risk, high-reward challenges and a desire to play at the frontier
  • Fluent spoken and written English
