Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns and promotional materials for CAC programs, events, classes, exhibitions, fundraising initiatives, and special projects.
  • Maintain marketing calendars and coordinate timelines, messaging, and materials across digital and print channels.
  • Ensure communications are consistent with CAC’s brand, mission, and accessible, welcoming voice.
  • Manage day-to-day content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other appropriate platforms.
  • Create engaging posts, stories, reels, videos, and other content highlighting CAC programs, artists, instructors, students, performances, exhibitions, events, and community impact.
  • Monitor engagement, respond to comments and messages as appropriate, and use analytics to strengthen audience growth and engagement.
  • Develop and distribute weekly general and periodic targeted email newsletters promoting programs, events, fundraising events, and organizational news.
  • Maintain and grow email lists and use segmentation to reach appropriate audiences.
  • Monitor email performance and make recommendations to improve engagement, attendance, and sales.
  • Update and maintain website content.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, English, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Experience developing content and managing social media platforms, email marketing, and digital campaigns.
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and visual storytelling skills.
  • Experience with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress or another CMS, email marketing platforms, and social media management tools such as Hootsuite.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, SEO, and digital advertising.
  • Experience creating photography, short-form video, and other digital content.
  • Comfort using AI-assisted content and design tools such as ChatGPT, Canva AI, or Adobe Firefly.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a creative, fast-paced environment.
