Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day execution of assigned client accounts, participating in client meetings and communications, and helping move account priorities forward.
  • Execute communications projects and campaigns, managing assigned timelines and deliverables to ensure work is completed accurately, on time and aligned with client objectives and brand standards.
  • Develop a strong understanding of clients' organizations, industries, audiences, and goals to inform account activities and contribute relevant ideas and recommendations.
  • Develop, write, edit and proofread communications materials, including media materials, digital and social content, client communications and other materials, ensuring work is accurate, on brand and consistent with each client's voice and style.
  • Execute media relations activities, as needed, including media research and list development, developing story angles and pitches, conducting outreach and follow-up, coordinating interviews and tracking coverage.
  • Support campaign measurement and reporting by tracking results, gathering data and helping identify key takeaways.
  • Collaborate with account teams and other agency disciplines to move projects forward, maintain clear communication around status and priorities, and proactively identify potential challenges or changes in deadlines and deliverables.
  • Maintain organized and accurate account files, project information, media lists and other materials necessary to support effective account management.
  • Contribute to Mindful Kreative programs and initiatives, including agency marketing, social media, website content and maintenance, as assigned, while serving as a champion and ambassador for the agency and its values.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years’ of experience within an agency or in-house position
  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing, journalism or related fields
  • Background with a variety of industries (healthcare and nonprofit preferred)
  • Exceptionally strong writing skills with a track record of original published content
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects at once
  • Strong time management skills to meet competing deadlines and priorities
  • Self-starting, able to work with minimal supervision
  • Incredible attention to detail and adept at following a brand’s style guide
  • Solution-oriented, problem-solving approach to challenges
  • Experience using and developing content for social media in a professional setting – e.g. managing brand or company accounts on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn

Preferred

  • Healthcare and nonprofit background preferred
  • Knowledge and proficiency in Workfront a plus
  • Willingness and comfortable learning new project management software
