Job Summary

Own and execute the social program for a consumer wellness brand, shaping strategy, content creation, publishing, ads, community management, and analytics across launches, events and partnerships.

  • Social strategy & content planning
  • Content creation and publishing
  • Analytics & optimization

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Social strategy & content planning - Co-create monthly content calendars with our Marketing Associate - Generate ongoing content ideas that support Luminara's brand, audience growth, engagement, education and business goals - Align social content with broader marketing initiatives: feature and product launches, group healing sessions and events, partnership campaigns, practitioner content, promotions and company updates
  • Content creation - Create 2 social posts per week for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok - Own the full process: captions and social copy, Reels and short-form video, carousels, statics, Stories, graphics and other visual assets - Sources you'll work from include practitioner interviews, client stories and clips from the founder's podcast appearances - Repurpose and adapt content appropriately for each platform - Stay current on relevant trends, platform changes, formats and content opportunities
  • Review, scheduling & publishing - Prepare content in advance and submit for review and approval before posting - Schedule and publish approved content - Maintain a consistent publishing schedule; make sure content goes live accurately and on time
  • Ad asset development - Ideate and create advertising assets for monthly Google and Meta campaigns
  • Community management - Monitor comments, DMs, mentions and engagement across our channels - Respond in a timely, thoughtful, on-brand way - Escalate client care questions, sensitive inquiries and practitioner questions to the right person on the team. Some messages come from people in genuine distress; judgement about what to answer and what to pass on matters more than response time.
  • Analytics & optimization - Prepare monthly analytics reports tracking key metrics across platforms - Identify trends, top-performing content, areas to improve and growth opportunities - Use those insights to shape future calendars and strategy
  • Team collaboration - Attend a weekly team meeting - Work with the team to gather information, assets, practitioner content, testimonials and other materials

Requirements

  • 3+ years running social in-house for a consumer wellness, health or mental-health brand. Agency-only backgrounds tend not to fit here.
  • You've personally grown an account in the wellness or spiritual space. Your own audience tells us more than a portfolio.
  • Energy healing is something you actually care about, as a client. You've had sessions, you follow the field, you have views on it. You'll be making content about it every week — that's hard to sustain on curiosity alone. (This is a marketing role, not a practitioner one; we're not hiring you to heal.)
  • You take the evidence seriously. We're running a research partnership with Florida State University's Complementary Health Innovation Lab, and we hold ourselves to saying only what the data supports. You should find that exciting rather than constraining, and be able to read a study and know what it does and doesn't say.
  • You can hold both at once — believing in the work and refusing to overstate it. That's the whole job.
  • You shoot and edit your own short-form video, and you can direct a practitioner who's never been on camera into something watchable
  • You write well enough that long captions land
  • Native English
