About the Role
The Marketing Assistant supports both Sales & Marketing and Product Development Teams by maintaining product information, assisting with basic graphic design tasks, preparing marketing content, and supporting sales materials. This role is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, familiar with graphic design tools, comfortable working in Excel, and understands basic marketing concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update product information, pricing, and sales data using Excel.
- Assist with creating simple marketing materials using Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools.
- Support product content updates for packaging, labels, and digital listings.
- Proofread and review product content for accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency.
- Help prepare sales sheets, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Assist with social media content planning, scheduling, and basic engagement tracking.
- Organize files, assets, and internal documentation.
- Provide light support for trade shows and events (up to 5% travel).
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, formulas, data entry).
- Experience with graphic design tools (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar).
- Understanding of basic marketing concepts (branding, product positioning, digital channels).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Experience in marketing, product content, or sales support is a plus.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Familiarity with Shopify, WIX, Amazon Seller Central, or other e‑commerce platforms.
- Experience with social media content creation or email marketing.
- Basic understanding of packaging content or compliance‑sensitive writing.
- Light photo editing or product photography experience.
