Job Summary

Own the downtown marketing heartbeat by coordinating digital channels, events, and community partnerships to amplify promotions and programming across the district.

  • Digital and Event Coordination: Manage social media, content calendars, and downtown activations to drive engagement and visibility.
  • Partnerships and Community Outreach: Build relationships with local partners, vendors, and organizers to strengthen programming and public engagement.
  • Content and Asset Management: Lead content creation and maintain marketing assets to support campaigns and promotional strategies.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage DSP social media platforms and digital communications
  • Develop and maintain content calendars
  • Create engaging written, graphic, and visual content
  • Manage email newsletters and website updates
  • Monitor analytics and campaign performance
  • Lead coordination and execution of downtown activations and events
  • Support DSP signature events and stakeholder gatherings
  • Coordinate vendors, permits, logistics, and event setup
  • Work collaboratively with community partners and event organizers
  • Promote downtown businesses, events, and initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field preferred
  • 3–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, event coordination, destination marketing, or related field preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience managing social media platforms and digital campaigns
  • Experience coordinating events, activations, or public programming
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, social media management platforms, WordPress, email marketing systems, and graphic design tools preferred

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field preferred
  • 3–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, event coordination, destination marketing, or related field preferred
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, social media management platforms, WordPress, email marketing systems, and graphic design tools preferred
