Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Partner closely with the Administrator, Admissions Director, and Regional Leadership to drive census growth and referral conversion
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, social workers, and other referral sources
  • Conduct regular hospital and community visits to present services, build rapport, and support timely admissions
  • Respond to all referrals and inquiries promptly across phone, in-person, and electronic referral platforms
  • Clearly communicate admission criteria and facility capabilities to referral sources, patients, and families
  • Track, manage, and follow up on all inquiries, referrals, and pending admissions to ensure strong conversion outcomes
  • Support complaint resolution efforts in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of admissions activity, referral trends, and marketing outcomes
  • Collaborate with Admissions to monitor census trends, rehospitalizations, and referral performance
  • Develop and maintain a strong presence in the healthcare community to strengthen the facility’s reputation
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience in healthcare marketing or sales required (long-term care, skilled nursing, home care, or similar healthcare settings)
  • Proven ability to generate referrals and meet census or admission targets
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills within healthcare systems
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required
  • Strong organization, follow-up, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with clinical and administrative teams
  • Understanding of HIPAA compliance and healthcare privacy standards
