Responsibilities

• Drives, creates and communicates messaging guides for OEC’s RepairLogic, EstimateIQ, and OEM certification-based products and services based on relevant buyer and user personas. Partners cross-functionally on execution and refresh of key messaging.
• Serves as the internal subject matter expert on market intelligence and the target audience; understands their challenges and goals, competition, and how to outcompete them.
• Defines marketing strategy by working directly with senior leaders to align marketing budgets, resources, and activities, with our greatest areas of opportunity.
• Defines and executes cohesive content strategy to support campaigns based on gaps in the buying cycle and customer needs to develop necessary content (eBooks, white papers, success stories, interactive assets, videos, ROI tools). Collaborates with execution resources and Product Marketing specialists for content activation and placement.
• Enables the Sales Team to effectively communicate the value of OEC to customers and develops tools that can be used to increase sales productivity.
• Supports Marketing Leadership in the development and maintenance of relationships with industry groups, analysts, thought leaders, and press, to support awareness activities.
• Drives thought leadership activities including articles, blogs, videos, speaking engagements, etc.
• Drives, leads and executes a cohesive global product launch plan to generate interest, raise awareness and secure customers.
• Helps set, track, and drive key Product Marketing metrics.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required, with a focus in business, marketing, or related discipline. In the absence of a degree, equivalent work experience directly related to the key responsibilities of the role will be considered as a substitute for the degree.
• At least 6 years of experience is required in product marketing along with a minimum of 2 years in a people-leader management role. Experience in the software as a service/technology industry is highly preferred.
• Demonstrable demand generation, growth marketing, and product marketing experience
• Creating, refining, and owning strategic marketing plans for one or more products
• Owning campaign planning and execution from start to finish
• Leading and developing a team of direct reports
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and can communicate across channels to a diverse audience
• Ability to develop and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships with internal stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product Management and senior leaders, to enable product launches and customer retention success
• Effective in influencing, negotiation and change management
• Ability to articulate/translate technical product and service capabilities into simple, audience-appropriate content
