Manager of Paid Media

Responsibilities

• Lead Meta strategy across Facebook and Instagram, spanning prospecting, retargeting, and retention support.
• Manage a significant and scaling monthly Meta budget and broader paid media budget, with accountability for CAC, ROAS, MER, and efficient growth.
• Make cross channel investment decisions using incrementality, blended efficiency, and business outcomes rather than last click performance.
• Own Meta account structure, campaign architecture, bidding, audience strategy, placements, and ongoing optimization
• Build and run a rigorous testing roadmap across audiences, offers, formats, and creative, with clear hypotheses, success criteria, and actionable readouts.
• Stay ahead of Meta’s product roadmap, including Advantage+, Partnership Ads, new placements, and emerging signals, and determine what is worth testing and scaling.
• Build and lead direct reports responsible for in platform execution, QA, and reporting.
• Set clear operating standards, cadences, and review processes that enable the team to move quickly while maintaining a high bar for quality.
• Build SOPs, and QA processes that keep accounts organized, consistent, and auditable.
• Build a creative testing system, developing efficient ways to validate new ideas without unnecessarily increasing CAC.

Requirements

• Meta Expertise - Deep, current expertise in Meta advertising, including account structure, Advantage+, bidding, audience strategy, CAPI, and measurement.
• Proven experience managing high Meta budgets with full accountability for performance.
• Active participant in the Meta media buying community with a strong pulse on emerging tactics and platform changes.
• Track record of scaling spend while maintaining disciplined CAC and contribution margin.
• Full Funnel Paid Ownership - Experience managing paid acquisition across Meta, Google, YouTube, and ideally any app or programmatic channels.
• Strong understanding of how channels work independently and together, including audience overlap and channel interaction.
• Ability to make thoughtful cross channel budget decisions and clearly articulate the rationale behind them.
• Incrementality & Measurement - Strong understanding of incrementality testing.
• Comfortable evaluating performance through blended efficiency and incremental impact rather than relying on last click attribution alone.
• Brand Side Experience - Several years of in house experience owning media and being accountable for the business impact of paid acquisition.
