Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The Marketing Experience Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and executing all localization, branding, and marketing activities at the store and market level.
  • Plan and Execute Local Activations: Develop and manage detailed action plans for all in-store events, trunk shows, and brand experiences, coordinating seamless execution with Selling Managers, Corporate Special Events, and Store Leadership.
  • Manage End-to-End Event Production: Oversee the scheduling, internal/external communication, production, breakdown, wrap-up reporting, and ROI evaluation for every activation.
  • Cultivate Community Relationships: Identify and develop deep partnerships with local philanthropic organizations, social groups, and corporate entities to maximize store visibility and civic engagement.
  • Drive Commercial KPIs: Ensure all marketing activations feature clear selling goals, robust Associate follow-up plans, and measurable short- and long-term financial impacts.
  • Own Calendar and Budget: Formulate and manage the seasonal marketing and events calendar across the market/metro area while taking full ownership of the store's marketing budget.
  • Direct Content and Copywriting: Manage and write the copy for all localized marketing collateral, including digital and print invitations, direct mail, social media posts, and internal Sales Associate communication.
  • Lead Social and Communication Channels: Build and execute engaging, brand-compliant social media campaigns and oversee localized email communications and client outreach programs.
  • Spearhead Purpose-Driven Initiatives: Lead the store’s corporate social responsibility efforts by organizing community service projects in partnership with Human Resources.
  • Foster Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate closely with Merchants, Creative, Corporate Marketing, and external luxury brand partners to ensure cohesive brand messaging.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of experience in brand marketing, event planning, public relations, or retail marketing, preferably within a luxury or premium consumer sector.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
  • A proven track record of building, motivating, and coaching individuals or teams to achieve operational excellence. Advanced business acumen and analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to present performance metrics and strategic overviews at the executive level.
  • Proficiency with creative and professional tools, including social media management platforms, Microsoft Office (specifically PowerPoint and Word), and a preference for Adobe InDesign and Google Workspace.
  • Flexibility to work a dynamic retail schedule tailored to business and event needs, which will regularly include evenings, weekends, and holiday periods.
  • Physical capability to navigate a fast-paced retail floor and event environments, which may require standing for long periods, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting or carrying event production materials up to 10 pounds.
