Job Description

Responsibilities

Own and manage WSU Tech's organic social media presence across all institutional channels, from content planning and scheduling to publishing, engagement, and ongoing optimization.
Build and maintain a strategic social media content calendar aligned with enrollment initiatives, academic programs, events, partnerships, and student stories.
Lead paid social media advertising — campaign planning, audience targeting, creative coordination, budget management, and performance reporting.
Manage email marketing campaigns end-to-end: audience segmentation, content coordination, scheduling, deployment, and analysis.
Maintain email marketing calendars in partnership with internal teams to keep communications timely, accurate, and on-brand.
Provide marketing and communications support for college events, including promotional materials, timelines, and logistics.
Collaborate across departments to support enrollment, academic programs, and college-wide initiatives.
Coordinate with designers, photographers, videographers, and vendors to produce high-quality content.
Analyze performance data across social, paid advertising, and email to inform strategy and identify new opportunities.
Stay ahead of digital marketing trends and platform best practices to keep WSU Tech competitive.

Requirements

Associate degree in business, marketing, communications, digital marketing, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred).
2+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, communications, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience managing organic social media channels and creating content for social platforms.

Preferred

Experience with paid social media advertising, email marketing, and/or event support.
