Job Description
Responsibilities
- The Manager, AI & Organic Search supports the strategic direction, performance analysis, and operational roadmap for organic search and AI discovery across both Victoria’s Secret and PINK.
- This role bridges commercial search strategy, emerging conversational AI engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini), and multi-category retail merchandising.
- You will be a key component in helping the full AEO/GEO/SEO Roadmap come to life. This includes, but is not limited to, strategic projects, editorial/content hub optimizations, performance audits, and technical site architecture/product feeds updates.
- Plus, you will partner with the Director on channel vision, guiding dedicated team specialists, and serving as a primary organic discovery advisor for cross-functional brand, merchandising, creative, and digital analytics partners.
- You will also be responsible for driving advancement in marketing capabilities, evangelizing SEO opportunities, optimizing customer engagement, and delivering effective results against key business objectives for the Victoria’s Secret and PINK brands.
- Support the end-to-end organic search and AI discovery roadmap across Victoria’s Secret and PINK, translating high-level business goals into prioritized quarterly initiatives, deliverables, and growth milestones
- Build the evolution of organic visibility beyond standard SERPs. Audit brand representation, citation frequency, and sentiment across LLMs, AI overviews, and conversational engines
- Own recurring channel reporting and executive performance storytelling, translating complex search trends, generative AI referrals, and category market share shifts into commercial insights
- Partner with cross-functional partners and teams to align organic search strategies with high-velocity product drops, campaigns, and major seasonal peaks
- Partner with Engineering, Product, and Digital Merchandising to drive technical crawlability, schema/structured data, indexing governance, rendering, and URL parameter management across category and product detail pages.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in digital marketing within an agency or retail organization
- Experience in SEO required
- Deep functional understanding of organic search dynamics, generative AI retrieval mechanics (LLMs, citations, conversational search), and consumer intent modeling
- Mix of business, creative, and technical acumen
- Agile strategic planner who can set multi-quarter vision, govern complex roadmaps, and dive into high-impact execution when needed
- Outstanding analytical skills and strong experience in performance optimization
- Deep hands-on experience with AEO/SEO tech stack and tools (Google Suite, Adobe Analytics, Conductor, Profound)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- This role can be based in either our Reynoldsburg, OH (Columbus area) or New York, NY offices (Hybrid)
