Job Description

Responsibilities

This role is full ownership of retention across two fast-growing DTC brands.
You'll run email, SMS, and direct mail — writing the copy, building the flows, managing the calendar, and reading the data that tells you what to do next.
You own retention for both brands. That means watching cohort behavior, identifying where LTV breaks down, ideating and testing ways to drive repeat purchases, and running email, SMS, and direct mail as the levers to get there.
You think in systems, manage your own priorities without being told what to do next, and report back with insight rather than status updates.
You report into the Director of Growth Marketing.
Monthly email, SMS, and direct mail calendar across both brands
All campaign and flow copy, written in a direct response style
Klaviyo flows, segmentation, and A/B testing built and managed directly, no agency in the middle
Customer cohort monitoring: tracking repeat purchase rates, spotting drop-off patterns, and flagging at-risk segments before they churn
LTV strategy: building and testing hypotheses to improve purchase frequency and long-term customer value

Requirements

3+ years owning retention at DTC brands, not just executing at agencies
Has owned Email & SMS accounts with 1M+ subscribers end-to-end: flows, campaigns, segmentation, analytics + list growth, segmentation, campaign execution, and compliance.
Can write direct response copy without a copywriter. Non-negotiable.
Has driven measurable LTV improvement, not just list growth. Come with numbers.
Understands cohort analysis, purchase cadence, and repurchase mechanics for physical products
Klaviyo-certified or deeply fluent across flows, segments, A/B testing, and deliverability
Self-directed and organized. You manage your own priorities and don't need hand-holding.
Available during EST business hours, minimum 4-hour daily overlap required
Plus: beauty, wellness, personal care, or women's health vertical experience
