Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Execute integrated marketing and business development initiatives that support firm growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with attorneys to develop marketing collateral, client presentations, biographies, practice descriptions, and thought leadership content.
  • Manage website updates, digital content, and search optimization initiatives.
  • Coordinate responses for proposals, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and client pitch materials.
  • Support attorney branding initiatives across digital and professional networking platforms.
  • Plan, coordinate, and evaluate firm-sponsored events, seminars, webinars, and client engagement activities.
  • Monitor marketing performance metrics and prepare reports that measure campaign effectiveness and return on investment.
  • Maintain CRM databases, marketing contact lists, and business development tracking systems.
  • Research industry trends, competitive activity, and market opportunities to support strategic planning.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure consistent branding and high-quality client communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a closely related discipline.
  • 3–10 years of professional marketing or business development experience.
  • Previous law firm or professional services marketing experience is required.
  • Excellent written, verbal, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience utilizing CRM platforms and email marketing solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting competing deadlines.
  • Professional communication skills with experience supporting attorneys, executives, or senior leadership.
  • Must currently reside within the United States.
  • U.S. citizens only.

Preferred

  • Experience preparing legal directory submissions and industry award nominations.
  • Familiarity with website content management systems and basic HTML.
  • Knowledge of SEO, digital marketing analytics, and performance reporting tools.
  • Experience coordinating client events, webinars, and business development initiatives.
  • Experience supporting attorney branding and thought leadership campaigns.
  • Stable employment history demonstrating increasing responsibility within legal or professional services marketing.
