Job Summary
Own leasing operations end to end for prospective residents, balancing sales with service; you own showings, applications, move-in prep, renewals, and community events, while coordinating with maintenance and property management to hit occupancy and retention goals.
- Greet and qualify prospects and conduct tours to convert interest into leases.
- Own the leasing workflow including applications, deposits, leases, and data entry in Yardi.
- Drive conversions and renewals through follow-ups, resident events, and community outreach.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Greet prospective residents and guide them through the leasing process.
- Conduct tours and highlight features and benefits of each apartment.
- Practice the ABCs, Always Be Closing.
- Follow up with prospects and track all calls and visits.
- Process applications, collect deposits, and prepare lease paperwork.
- Ensure apartments are ready for move in day.
- Respond to calls, questions, and concerns with professionalism.
- Coordinate service requests with maintenance and follow up with residents.
- Support renewals and encourage referrals.
- Help plan and host resident events.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Comfort with Microsoft Office and property management software.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Professional appearance and customer focused mindset.
