Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Decisioning Studio product marketing including positioning, messaging architecture, launch strategy and execution, competitive strategy, pricing and packaging input, and the field narrative. Every decision about how this product reaches the market runs through you.
  • Technical audience credibility. Own how Braze explains decisioning to data engineers, architects, platform owners, and technical evaluators.
  • Competitive strategy for decisioning and AI-driven personalization. Know this competitive set cold, and turn that knowledge into positioning that wins deals.
  • Your contribution to the Data & AI portfolio narrative. Partner with the PMMs who own the Braze Data Platform, observability, Account Objects, Operator, and Agent Console to build the overarching story that explains why these products belong together.
  • Roadmap influence. Partner with Product Management and Engineering as a genuine strategic peer, bringing market and customer insight that shapes what gets built, not just how it gets announced.
  • Translate genuinely complex technology into language that lands. Decisioning logic, large language models, agentic systems, data infrastructure — explain clearly without losing substance.
  • Run launches that don't stop at the launch. Build sustained motion that drives adoption and expansion on an ongoing basis.
  • Build and own the marketing plan for your products. Partner with demand, brand, and communication team members to build, execute, and measure every strategy and tactic.
  • Own pricing and packaging input. Partner with Pricing, Product, and Finance on how decisioning capabilities are packaged and monetized.
  • Enable the field to sell a technical product with confidence. Build narratives, plays, and assets that let Sales, Solutions Consulting, and CS support customers and prospects.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Product Marketing experience, with an exceptionally strong background in technical and AI products.
  • Fluency in the enterprise AI landscape: large language models, agentic AI, AI infrastructure, and the evolving ecosystem of AI tools and platforms.
  • A proven track record of developing product positioning and messaging that resonates with technical audiences and accelerates revenue in competitive markets.
  • Experience partnering closely with Product Management and Engineering to understand and shape roadmap strategy through market and customer insight.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills that enable you to explain complex AI concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences.
  • A data-driven mindset with demonstrated ability to measure the impact of PMM programs on pipeline and win rates.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate across functions and execute without direct authority in a fast-moving, matrixed organization.
  • A degree in mathematics, computer science, statistics, data science, engineering, physics, or a related quantitative or technical field — or equivalent demonstrated technical depth built through your career.

Preferred

  • Experience in AI products, cloud data platforms, business intelligence, or analytics software.
  • Experience in the martech or customer engagement space, with real command of the competitive landscape and how AI is changing the practice of marketing.
  • Experience with pricing and packaging, particularly for AI or consumption-based products.
  • Experience building field enablement that gets adopted and used.
  • Experience working with industry analysts on technical product categories.
  • Experience with decisioning, recommendation systems, personalization engines, or experimentation platforms.
