Job Summary

Own end-to-end innovation that translates brand strategy and consumer insight into product propositions, packaging, and market experiences, while leading commercialization and go-to-market planning with autonomy and cross-functional influence.

  • Lead brand-driven product concepts and consumer storytelling across the value chain
  • Oversee cross-functional delivery from insight to launch and post-launch evaluation

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The Innovation Associate Brand Manager will help build its next chapter by translating brand strategy, consumer insight and cultural trends into products, packaging, communications and market experiences that drive growth.
  • This is not a traditional product-development-only role. The ABM will connect long-term brand direction with end-to-end innovation delivery—shaping the product proposition and consumer story, leading commercialization, influencing go-to-market plans and ensuring that each initiative strengthens the Klondike masterbrand.
  • This role is a dynamic mix that combines brand strategy, storytelling, innovation leadership, consumer and cultural insight, and measurable business impact.
  • Because Klondike operates with a lean brand structure, this person must be comfortable working with significant autonomy, bringing forward clear recommendations and leading through influence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and approximately 3–5 years of brand marketing, innovation, commercialization or closely related consumer-business experience; MBA a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect consumer insight, brand strategy and commercial reality into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience leading complex projects across functions, managing multiple workstreams, deadlines, dependencies and stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of innovation and commercialization, including concept development, business cases, product and packaging development, launch planning and post-launch evaluation.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort using consumer, category, customer and financial information to make decisions.
  • Experience briefing, managing and evaluating creative, design, research or communications agencies.
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to make complex issues clear and compelling.
  • Ability to operate with autonomy, navigate ambiguity and make progress without waiting for perfect information.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence colleagues and senior stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially across claims, packaging, artwork, financial assumptions and launch-critical timelines.

Preferred

  • Experience in consumer packaged goods, food, frozen products or another operationally complex category.
  • Exposure to retailer and channel-specific commercialization, including mass, grocery, digital commerce or out-of-home channels.
  • Experience with syndicated category data, consumer panels, concept testing and brand-health measurement.
  • Experience supporting licensed, co-branded or external-partner innovation.
  • Familiarity with pricing, pack architecture, margin analysis, volume forecasting and innovation financials.
  • Working knowledge of digital commerce and AI-enabled marketing tools, with the ability to use them responsibly to accelerate insight generation, asset development and workflow efficiency.

Benefits

  • Alongside meaningful work and strong development, we offer a reward package that typically includes:
  • Market-competitive pay and performance related rewards
  • Flexible ways of working
  • Support for health, wellbeing and life outside of work
  • Time off to rest and recharge
  • Ongoing learning and development opportunities
  • Medical, dental and (where applicable) vision coverage
  • Health and wellbeing support, including employee assistance programs and wellness initiatives
  • Health-related savings and spending accounts
  • Retirement savings programs with a competitive matching plan
