Job DetailsJob Location: Pawhuska - Pawhuska, OK 74056Position Type: Regular Full-TimePosition Summary The Internal Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and executing strategic internal communications initiatives that support employee engagement, leadership messaging, and organizational alignment within the Osage Nation. This position ensures employees receive timely, clear, and consistent information from executive leadership and departments across the Nation, with a heavy focus on cross-departmental communication, awareness, and collaboration. QualificationsKey Responsibilities Internal Strategy & Planning Develop and implement an internal communications strategy Create an annual internal communications calendar Draft internal memos, announcements, and talking points Support executive messaging to staff Coordinate all-employee updates Manage internal newsletter(s) Develop internal campaigns Promote employee initiatives and recognition Support culture-building efforts Develop internal email campaigns Ensure consistency across departments Create internal FAQs and toolkits Assist in internal crisis communications Ensure staff are informed during emergencies Track engagement metrics Conduct internal surveys Provide reporting and recommendations   Education Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent experience).   Experience 3+ years of communications experience Experience in internal or organizational communications preferred Government or tribal government experience preferred
