Job Summary

Own and drive SOLV Energy’s external communications program, coordinating media relations, storytelling, thought leadership, and digital advocacy through close collaboration with internal experts to surface and amplify impactful projects and industry leadership.

  • Own external communications strategy and content development across media relations and thought leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to identify and tell compelling stories about projects and innovations.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Media Relations & External Communications
  • Draft and coordinate external communications materials, including press releases, media advisories, fact sheets, talking points, and briefing documents.
  • Support media outreach efforts, interview preparation, and relationship-building with industry media and other external stakeholders.
  • Monitor industry developments and identify opportunities to increase visibility for SOLV Energy, its projects, and its leaders.
  • Storytelling & Content Development
  • Proactively identify, develop, and create content that highlights SOLV Energy's people, projects, innovations, partnerships, and industry expertise.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal subject matter experts, project teams, and business leaders to identify emerging stories, innovations, and communications opportunities.
  • Conduct research and interviews to gather information and develop compelling communications content.
  • Develop a variety of content, including thought leadership articles, project spotlights, and LinkedIn content.
  • Translate technical information into clear, compelling content for external audiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in communications, public relations, journalism, content marketing, media relations, or a related discipline.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong interviewing, research, and information-gathering capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to build relationships across an organization.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
