Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical owner of HubSpot Marketing Hub and HubSpot CMS, ensuring long-term platform health, scalability, and performance.
  • Partner closely with Marketing leadership to translate campaign goals and growth strategies into automation, CMS, and integration solutions.
  • Design and maintain lifecycle automation across acquisition, nurture, conversion, retention, and re-engagement programs.
  • Build and maintain HubSpot CMS themes, templates, custom modules, and dynamic content using HubL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Design and maintain integrations between HubSpot and external systems using APIs, webhooks, and middleware while ensuring reliable data synchronization.
  • Establish governance and quality standards for custom code, including documentation, version control, testing, and deployment practices.
  • Manage and oversee external HubSpot agencies and vendors, ensuring their work aligns with internal architecture and long-term platform strategy.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing automation, MarTech engineering, CRM development, or growth engineering roles.
  • Deep hands-on expertise with HubSpot Marketing Hub and HubSpot CMS, including workflows, lifecycle stages, custom objects, and lead scoring.
  • Experience serving as the technical owner of a marketing technology ecosystem in close partnership with Marketing teams.
  • Strong experience designing integrations across multiple systems using HubSpot APIs, webhooks, and custom code.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript with working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and HubL for CMS development.
  • Experience governing custom code and reviewing vendor-built solutions for scalability, quality, and security.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
