Responsibilities

• Affiliate Program (70% of your focus) — Revenue Ownership
• - Program Architecture: Design the commission model, incentive structure, and recruitment strategy that attracts high-performing veterinary professionals and pet health creators. This is your blank canvas.
• - Partner Recruitment & Management: Source and recruit 30–50+ active partners in year one, focusing on veterinary professionals, established pet health creators, and "super users" with credibility in the space. Nurture them toward consistent revenue production.
• - Revenue Accountability: Track, analyze, and own every dollar of affiliate-attributed revenue. You'll report quarterly to the CMO with clear metrics: revenue tier, active partner count, and program ROI.
• Veterinary Contributor Program & Rescue Partnerships (30%)
• - License and manage veterinary professionals who author and medically review content.
• - Build a lightweight 501(c)(3) partnership model that sources authentic rescue stories while maximizing brand value.
• - These programs feed the affiliate machine: The content and assets they produce fuel paid social performance and partner marketing kits.
• Cross-Program: Content Supply Chain & Creative Operations
• - Build a scalable "content supply chain" sourcing ad-ready creative from partners with cleared usage rights.

Requirements

• 5+ years in affiliate marketing, performance partnerships, influencer marketing, or creator programs — ideally building a program from scratch or scaling an existing one in a DTC or high-growth environment.
• Hands-on experience with affiliate platforms (Impact, UpPromote, Refersion, Shopify Collabs) and CRM/project management (Notion, Airtable, Monday, HubSpot).
• Proven track record sourcing and recruiting partners and managing them to revenue targets.
• Experience drafting and negotiating influencer/affiliate contracts with focus on usage rights, exclusivity, and content ownership.
• Creative direction: You understand what makes a video convert in a paid social context and can brief partners on "hooks" and performance-first storytelling.

Preferred

• Experience working in pet, veterinary, or health-adjacent industries.
• Background working with credentialed professionals or E-E-A-T-driven content (medical review, expert networks).
• Experience with nonprofit or cause-based partnerships.
• Familiarity with AI tools (Claude, etc.)
