  • Define success metrics and report on what works
  • Lead and manage a structured experimentation roadmap across channels and lifecycle campaigns

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute growth strategies across customer acquisition, activation, conversion, retention, and expansion.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our audiences, including developers, product teams, and enterprise buyers, and translate those insights into targeted campaigns.
  • Analyse the full customer journey to identify friction, drop-off points, and opportunities to improve conversion.
  • Build and manage a structured experimentation roadmap across channels, messaging, landing pages, onboarding, pricing, and lifecycle communications.
  • Launch and optimise paid and organic acquisition campaigns across relevant channels.
  • Improve website and landing-page conversion through testing, audience segmentation, stronger positioning, and clearer calls to action.
  • Develop lifecycle campaigns that move users from sign-up to first value, active usage, qualified opportunity, and long-term adoption.
  • Partner with Product to improve activation, onboarding, feature adoption, and product-led growth loops.
  • Create campaigns and interactive experiences using Tavus technology, including live demos, conversational video experiences, and personalised customer journeys.
  • Work with Sales to improve lead quality, nurture, routing, and the conversion from marketing-qualified lead to pipeline.

Requirements

  • Commercially minded. Analytically rigorous. Hands-on.
  • Have experience owning measurable growth outcomes within B2B SaaS, developer tools, API-first technology, or a high-growth startup.
  • Understand how acquisition, activation, retention, and monetisation work together rather than treating growth as lead generation alone.
  • Are highly analytical and comfortable using data to identify opportunities, prioritise experiments, and evaluate performance.
  • Can balance short-term pipeline goals with longer-term product adoption and sustainable growth.
  • Have a strong experimentation mindset and know how to turn broad opportunities into clear, testable hypotheses.
  • Are comfortable operating across paid acquisition, lifecycle marketing, conversion-rate optimisation, and product-led growth.
  • Understand funnels, cohorts, attribution, conversion rates, CAC, LTV, retention, and payback periods.
  • Can move confidently between strategy and execution—you’re comfortable defining the plan and doing the work required to launch it.
  • Bring strong messaging and creative instincts alongside your analytical ability.

Preferred

  • Experience marketing technical products to developers, product leaders, or enterprise technology buyers.
  • Experience helping a Series A or Series B company build a repeatable growth engine.
  • A track record of improving product activation, free-to-paid conversion, retention, or expansion.
  • Experience managing meaningful paid media budgets and improving acquisition efficiency.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as HubSpot, Segment, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Looker, or similar.
  • Working knowledge of marketing automation, CRM architecture, audience segmentation, and attribution.
  • Comfort using SQL or working directly with analysts to answer growth questions.
  • Experience building account-based or enterprise demand-generation programmes.
  • Experience launching new products, entering new markets, or helping create a new category.
  • You’ve built something using the Tavus API—or you sign up and do it before your interview. We’ll notice.

  • Competitive salary
  • Equity in a fast-growing Series B AI research company
  • Flexible working with regular in-person collaboration in San Francisco
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Healthcare coverage
  • Equipment and professional-development stipends
  • Team events and offsites
  • At the end of the day, we want Tavus to be a place where you can learn quickly, directly influence the company’s growth, and work alongside people you genuinely enjoy.
