Job Summary

Lead on-the-ground community growth to drive LemFi adoption in US Nigerian expatriate networks through events, partnerships, and locally tailored acquisition programs.

  • Own local growth across online and offline channels and hit market targets.
  • Build a sustainable community network by engaging leaders, partners, and organizations and negotiating sponsorships.
  • Gather user insights and advocate for community needs to inform product messaging and features.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Travel across the country attending events, expos, and community meetings representing LemFi as a brand ambassador and key point of contact to drive brand awareness and new customer sign ups.
  • Build and expand LemFi’s community network by networking with local leaders, partners, and organisations, setting up meetings and agreeing sponsorship for existing community events.
  • Spend 3–5 days in a new U.S. city every 2–3 weeks to establish on-the-ground presence, grow relationships, and strengthen LemFi’s visibility within local communities.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive user acquisition strategies tailored to Nigerian ex-pat communities in the US.
  • Own growth targets for assigned markets, consistently driving results across online and offline channels.
  • Optimise campaigns using data and insights to improve performance against acquisition KPIs.
  • Lead community-driven initiatives to build trust, awareness, and advocacy for LemFi.
  • Organise and participate in local events, meetups, and forums to educate users about LemFi’s services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders and grassroots partners.
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage partnerships with relevant organisations and businesses to accelerate user growth.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in fast-paced environments, with a background in growth, sales, or marketing.
  • Growth Mindset: Proven ability to work against targets and deliver measurable results.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret data, track performance, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Community Expertise: Deep understanding of the Nigerian community in the United States.
  • Strong Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders.
  • Independent Operator: Self-motivated, proactive, and effective in a remote working environment.
