Job Summary

Own end-to-end supply acquisition across multiple channels for contributors and organizations, driving quality, speed, and volume while managing Pipeline health, activation, and repeat engagement.

  • Own the funnel from acquisition to first capture and sustain conversion velocity
  • Forecast demand, plan capacity, and scale channel mix across markets
  • Define and execute a unified brand, partner, and referral strategy to grow a global contributor network

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own the Funnels: Run supply acquisition end-to-end across multiple channels for individual contributors to specialized talent and organizations, and own the result on quality, speed, and volume.
  • Pipeline Health: Manage several active pipelines at once, spot where they stall, and move budget, people, or channels to unblock them.
  • Activation: Own conversion at every step of the funnel and the time it takes a new contributor to reach their first approved capture.
  • Capacity Planning: Forecast supply demand by program and market, size the team and channels against it, and rebalance before a program runs short.
  • Channel Portfolio: Test, measure, and scale the channels that bring supply in: referral, community, field, organic, partnerships, and paid, by market.
  • Yield Discipline: Know the cost and conversion of every channel and double down or cut based on the numbers, not the story.
  • Online Presence: Build and run brand presence where contributors already are: online channels, local communities, forums, and whatever comes next.
  • Referral and Partners: Design referral and affiliate mechanics with fraud controls built in, and build a repeatable partner motion with organizations that already reach our supply.
  • Repeat Engagement: Build the relationships and programs that turn one-time contributors into a reliable, returning bench.
  • Brand and Marketing Strategy: Set how Mecka shows up to contributors, from positioning and messaging to the channels and creative that carry it, so supply growth compounds rather than restarts each program.

Requirements

  • Supply-Side Growth Leadership: 6+ years in growth, with a track record owning supply-side acquisition at a two-sided marketplace, gig platform, or data collection business.
  • Multi-Channel Builder: Built a multi-channel acquisition engine from scratch, spanning referral, community, field, organic, and paid, and scaled it across more than one market.
  • Cost of Acquisition Ownership: Owned a growth budget and defended cost of acquisition and activation metrics to a leadership team.
  • Team Leadership: Hired and led a growth team, including through a matrix with in-market teams you didn't directly manage.
  • New York Based: Based in New York or willing to relocate. Willing to travel regularly to our global markets.

Preferred

  • Global or APAC Experience: Scaled supply growth across global markets
  • Data Collection Environment: Experience growing a contributor, annotator, or workforce base at a data collection or AI training data company.
  • Playbook Discipline: Made a growth playbook portable across countries and teams.
  • Analytical Reflex: Data-driven by reflex. Thinks in unit economics per channel per market.
  • Builder Mindset: A builder, not a caretaker.
  • Communication Style: Direct, low-ego, high-clarity communicator.
  • Robotics Excitement: Excited about bringing robotics into the real world at scale.
