Responsibilities

  • The Group Brand Manager is responsible for leading the PSS Brand Strategy (Post Sales Service) for Outdoor, while supporting the execution of the strategy by working closely with the Brand, Product, Category, and Commercial teams. This person will manage day-to-day project activities as well as drive the strategic choices that will enable the Stanley Black & Decker brand portfolio to achieve its short and long term goals. The PSS Group Brand Manager will further be responsible for owning a project portfolio and managing deliverables of the PSS Brand Team.
  • You’ll get to: Strong Voice in Advocating for PSS Initiatives (Post Sales Service)
  • Develop and execute comprehensive brand and marketing strategies to drive growth in parts, attachments and accessories sales within all brands and channels.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to plan, develop and distribute content, including digital assets, videos and photography, to improve the end user experience across all channels.
  • Create and implement a wide-ranging plan for the post purchase consumer journey, including maintenance and service, to ensure a positive experience with SBD’s brands.
  • Oversee the design, content, review and proofing process of artwork files for all part, attachment and accessory packaging projects.
  • Interact with external vendors including partner agencies and printers, as well as internal customers such as Sales, Product Management, Purchasing and Brand Marketing.
  • Provide marketing support to Sales for retail line reviews including Lowe’s, The Home Depot, Tractor Supply Company, as well as Hardware customers.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communications skills.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in a marketing or brand role.
  • Previous people management experience.
  • Hungry for data/analytics to dive deep into our end-user needs and problem solve.
  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills that can manage internal/external partners with varying degrees of knowledge of digital marketing
  • Strong business acumen, including financial/budget management skills.
  • Exceptional project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with developing marketing campaigns, product packaging, developing content & messaging strategies, leverage insights to drive decisions, optimizing and reporting out on performance.
