Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead Thoughtworks’ global partner marketing strategy across hyperscalers, ISVs and strategic alliances. Translate enterprise growth objectives into clear partner marketing priorities, investment strategies, and focus areas. Govern global partner positioning, messaging and narratives in collaboration with Service Line Marketing. Drive long-term strategic planning with partner ecosystem leadership, ensuring alignment with commercial goals. Develop relationships with marketing and GTM leaders in our partners. Develop key internal relationships in partners, service lines, marketing, sales. Lead embedding AI and data-driven approach in the partner GTM.
  • Develop and govern joint value propositions and messaging frameworks for top-tier partners (AWS, Azure, GCP, key ISVs). Ensure partner propositions are embedded in global campaigns, portfolio narratives, service line positioning, and field enablement. Collaborate with partner ecosystem leadership to evolve partnership GTM models and co-develop high-impact joint offerings.
  • Lead global co-marketing strategy, annual plans, and priority partner communications. Translate partner priorities into scalable campaign toolkits used by regions to drive demand, influence, and deal acceleration. Oversee the creation of co-branded assets, sales enablement materials, executive story packs, and sector/vertical messaging. Partner with global campaigns, content, digital, paid media, and social to amplify partner-driven stories.
  • Define marketing strategy, messaging, and priority offerings for major partner flagship events (e.g., AWS re:Invent). Co-lead event execution with regional teams and ecosystem leadership. Support regional activation programs that deepen partner seller engagement, expand reach, and drive pipeline.
  • Maximise the MDF budget. Own the global MDF/PFF strategy, including allocation, governance, and ROI measurement. Oversee Partner Marketing Operations to ensure seamless execution, performance tracking, and reporting. Implement consistent global processes for MDF planning, usage, and reporting across partner portfolios.
  • Coordinate with Service Line, Campaigns, Field Marketing, Content, Digital, and PR/AR teams to ensure partner marketing is integrated across all GTM activities. Serve as the primary global marketing liaison to partner organizations, building strong relationships with global partner marketing contacts. Partner with regional marketing teams to support local activation needs, gather feedback, and ensure global alignment. Maintain alignment with global ecosystem strategy, delivery, and sales leadership.
  • Lead global partner performance reporting, dashboards, and insight readouts. Provide visibility to CMO and partner ecosystem leadership on partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline, MDF ROI, and campaign performance. Ensure regional data and results roll up into global reporting consistently and accurately.
  • Lead and mentor four direct reports covering AWS, Other Hyperscalers, ISVs, and Partner Marketing Operations. Build capability and collaboration across global and regional marketing teams. Manage agency support and vendor relationships as needed to scale partner marketing capacity.

Requirements

  • 10–15 years in B2B marketing, including 7-10 years leading partner marketing programs, preferably within an IT services or consulting organization - Required.
  • Experience working directly at a hyperscaler (AWS, GCP, Microsoft), an ISV (Databricks, Snowflake, MongoDB), or an AI model/compute company (Nvidia, Anthropic) - Required.
  • Proven experience defining and scaling global partner marketing strategy, frameworks, and activation models.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise ecosystems, marketplace models, MDF/PFF governance, and co-marketing best practices.
  • Demonstrated success working with AWS, Azure, GCP or major ISVs in global co-marketing and GTM programs.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and program management capability.
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders across marketing, sales, ecosystem, and delivery teams.
  • Experience scaling global partner programs across regions.
