Responsibilities

  • Strategic JBP Facilitation: Strong collaborative relationships with our key advertising partners is critical to our business success. This role will lead and orchestrate the Joint Business Partnerships program for Mars Snacking, acting as the key facilitator connecting our brand teams, regional and local market teams, and global advertising platforms (e.g., Google, Meta, Amazon, OpenAI).
  • Operational Alignment: Drive cross-functional collaboration to align strategic priorities, unlock unique partner capabilities, and accelerate the transformation roadmap with particular focus on delivering value and innovation with our partners. Together with our agency partners ensure value is delivered across all paid, earned, shared and owned opportunities.
  • Escalation Resolution: Serve as the central point of contact and governance escalation to resolve operational, partnership, and commercial barriers, ensuring program momentum.
  • Global Capability Strategy: Set the overall global strategy, playbooks, and toolkits that enable markets to maximize value from their retail media networks (RMNs) and digital commerce investments.
  • Outside-In Innovation: Identify and scale industry best practices (e.g., retailer search, offsite programmatic media, data partnerships) to ensure maximum commercial returns from media investments.
  • Test Learn Roadmap: Define, drive, and govern a global Retail Media Test Learn agenda across key regions, testing new performance tactics and measuring incrementality.
  • Retail Media AdTech and Reporting: Own the AdTech roadmap and successful implementation and usage to continually increase our retail media effectiveness together with key agency partners.Be the main stakeholder for our Measurement organization to unlock Reporting and Measurement (e.g. MMM rollout) capabilities globally.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Media Communications, Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: 10 years of deep experience in digital marketing, media buying, media partnership management, or e-commerce/retail media. With proven experience operating in an international matrix organization.
  • Ecosystem thinking: Demonstrated experience building an ecosystem across partners, agencies and internal teams
  • Partnership Management (Must-Have): Demonstrated experience managing and maximizing joint business partnerships with global tech/media platforms and major agency networks.
  • Retail Media Expertise: Track record of maximizing the value of Retail Media Investment with major retailers and retail networks (e.g., Amazon, Walmart, Tesco, Carrefour, etc). Ideally at a cross-market or global level.
  • Global Matrix Navigation: Experience leading complex projects in a highly matrixed, multi-brand global company, with a proven ability to influence regional and local teams without direct authority.
  • Stakeholder management: Confidence managing large stakeholder groups, ensuring teams achieve shared objectives
  • Collaboration: Experience translating across teams with competing priorities. A people-person who builds trust and influences without authority.
  • Agency SOW Management: Experience directing large agency networks and managing complex, multi-million-dollar project agreements and deliverables
  • Technical Savvy: Strong familiarity with programmatic media, ad tech/mar tech infrastructure, RMNs. Familiarity with data governance, taxonomy management, and data-driven measurement. Able to navigate and translate between technical and business conversations and stakeholders with ease
