Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Our Intern will be exposed to the day-to-day responsibilities of working in the entertainment marketing field, gain understanding of media planning, project management, internal/external communication, and will receive continuous mentorship from dedicated team members.
  • Our Intern will engage in brainstorm discussions and are encouraged to bring forth new creative marketing ideas to the team.
  • Interns will also be responsible for conducting media research and gathering creative social media trends, making suggestions as to how they may be relevantly incorporated into campaigns.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize competing deadlines, and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills gained through academic, professional, or extracurricular experiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Senior year preferred
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
  • Be at least 18 years of age

Preferred

  • Previous internship or work experience with a television network, studio, streaming service, media company, advertising agency, or other entertainment organization.
