  • Weekend content engine: publish 4 posts/hour across major channels and monitor trends for quick responses.
  • Audience and monetization: drive engagement, referrals, and revenue through timely, brand-consistent posts.

Job Description

  • Content Scheduling & Publishing : Post and manage content across Newsweek’s social media channels (Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, TikTok, Bluesky, Threads, WhatsApp, Reddit and LinkedIn).
  • Engagement, referrals and monetization to be driven through creating and scheduling four posts per hour while working closely with the editorial to ensure timely and accurate content.
  • Audience Engagement : Monitor comments and trends; respond appropriately to foster community interaction.
  • Real-Time Coverage : Collaborate with editors to amplify breaking news and trending stories during weekend hours.
  • Analytics & Reporting : Track performance of weekend content and provide insights to the social media team.
  • Increase weekend social referrals and monetization through carefully crafted content that engages with Newsweek’s active readership.
  • Brand Consistency : Ensure all posts reflect Newsweek’s voice, editorial standards, and visual identity.
  • Collaboration : Communicate with editorial and digital teams to align social strategy with newsroom priorities.
