Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the demand generation team and sales leaders to develop regional marketing strategies aligned with overall business goals and objectives — proactively designing, planning, and executing regional field marketing campaigns and events that generate high-quality leads and accelerate pipeline growth while identifying target accounts and segments within Hyland's prospect audience and customer base to develop tailored marketing programs that drive brand awareness and engagement.
  • Plan, execute, and oversee a variety of world-class events — including regional events, ancillary events, user forums, and executive roundtables and dinners while designing and implementing pre-event and post-event engagement strategies to maximize attendance, participation, and lead conversion from revenue marketing activities.
  • Create targeted, high-impact account-based marketing (ABM) programs using multi-channel digital programs — engaging target accounts and driving deal acceleration through website personalization, gifting, and conversational email while interlocking with regional and industry field sales leaders and account executives to ensure ongoing agreement on priorities and adjusting to accommodate changing market conditions and emerging opportunities.
  • Lead awareness communication and enablement efforts with sellers in the field — partnering with cross-functional teams including campaign strategy, sales, product marketing, and solution marketing to ensure consistent messaging and maximize the impact of field marketing programs while developing and effectively managing the regional marketing budget to optimize spending, maximize ROI, and achieve KPIs.
  • Work with sales development representatives (SDRs) to define an end-to-end revenue management process and service-level agreements (SLAs) — tracking and analyzing program performance using key metrics while providing regular reporting on ROI and making data-driven recommendations for program optimization and monitoring the health of the sales pipeline.
  • Operate as an innovative thought leader — contributing significantly to the overall growth and quality of the department through knowledge sharing and coaching on current best practices and market trends while mentoring, coaching, training, and providing feedback to other team members and evaluating, selecting, and managing vendors that contribute to local field marketing programs.
  • Role Essentials

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience — with five or more years in B2B marketing and three or more years of field marketing experience, including a proven record of putting customer experience at the forefront of campaign and program planning and a successful record of enabling and partnering with sales to achieve revenue goals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — with detail-focused, strong cross-functional project management skills, strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills, and demonstrated ability to influence, motivate, and mobilize team members and business partners across the organization
  • Experience creating and implementing successful marketing programs in relevant markets — leveraging a range of tactics and technologies within budget and on time, including account-based marketing (ABM) programs using multi-channel digital programs to engage target accounts and drive deal acceleration
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills — with the ability to think creatively and bring innovative ideas to the table, strong business and technology acumen, and experience in marketing performance analytics, data visualization, and business intelligence tools for intent signal visibility
  • Strong collaboration and negotiation skills — with the ability to influence without ownership, gain support and trust across the organization, establish rapport, and effectively gain consensus while working independently and in a team environment; up to 25% travel time required

Preferred

  • Experience creating a culture of audience segmentation management — optimizing headcount and resources by reducing overlapping programs to the same audience and improving customer experience while working with SDRs to define end-to-end revenue management processes and service-level agreements (SLAs) between interlocking teams
  • Experience evaluating, selecting, and managing vendors that contribute to local field marketing programs — with demonstrated ability to source and manage marketing technology and ensure all field marketing programs comply with local data privacy and other regulations
  • Action-oriented leadership with exceptional planning, project, and agency management skills — with demonstrated ability to drive business outcomes, manage complexity and objection handling, and align plans to drive improved customer experience and revenue results
  • Demonstrated experience in marketing automation, CRM/Salesforce, content management, and event management platforms — with the ability to leverage available technology to cultivate innovation and continuously upskill in ways that grow both the business and the individual
  • Experience providing guidance and support to developing team members — with demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, train, and provide feedback while balancing stakeholders to ensure accountability by communicating effectively and driving engagement across the organization
