Job Description
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end event strategy and ROI measurement across all segments.
- Drive pipeline from events with pre-event ABM, at-event scheduling, and post-event follow-up.
- Manage event execution: logistics, booth design, speaker prep, collateral, staffing, and on-site coordination.
- Build hosted event program: executive dinners, roundtables, advisory boards, roadshows, and virtual events.
- Partner with Segment PMMs to align messaging, materials, and targets with GTM strategies.
- Coordinate with Sales to align event strategy with deal priorities and target accounts.
- Own speaker and content strategy: develop keynote narratives, talking points, session abstracts, and collateral.
- Manage event budget: track spending against pipeline ROI and optimize allocation by performance.
- Build scalable event operations: playbooks, templates, and AI-augmented processes to scale 10 to 30+ events/year.
Requirements
- 6-10+ years in B2B event marketing, with at least 3 years in healthcare events.
- Has personally owned an event strategy generating $25M+ in pipeline annually with attribution data.
- Deep familiarity with healthcare conferences (HIMSS, HLTH, ViVE, Becker’s, AHIP, DIA, JP Morgan Healthcare).
- Experience building hosted event programs: executive dinners, roundtables, advisory boards, roadshows.
- Strong project management; can manage 15+ events simultaneously across segments/geographies.
- Expert-level fluency with AI tools for marketing workflows and AI-augmented event operations.
- Metrics-obsessed; can discuss event ROI, pipeline attribution, cost-per-meeting, and conversion to opportunities.
- Experience at a growth-stage company where events were a significant pipeline driver.
- Bachelor’s degree plus MBA or advanced degree required.
Preferred
- Experience with AI/ML products in healthcare.
- Background at Series A-D health tech or enterprise SaaS that scaled its event program during rapid growth.
- Familiarity with event tech platforms (Splash, Bizzabo, Goldcast, or similar).
- Experience managing event budgets of $1M+ annually.
