Drive end-to-end enterprise events from concept through on-site execution across Marketing, Sales, and DevRel at Cursor.

  • Own event strategy, agenda, venue, vendors, and post-event outcomes.
  • Partner across Brand Events, Marketing, Recruiting, Ops, IT to scale.
  • Build and scale enterprise and developer community programs with a playbook.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end ownership of events from strategy through on-site execution and delivery.
  • Collaborate within Brand Events team and with Marketing, Sales, Field Engineering, and DevRel.
  • Own a specific event domain, serving as trusted partner for stakeholders.
  • Build new event programs from scratch and scale community-driven experiences.
  • Define goals, target audiences, and success metrics for each event.
  • Manage budgets, venue selection, vendors, run-of-show, and staffing.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with BrandComms, Recruiting, Ops, IT, Security, and Facilities.
  • Lead on-the-ground presence at key moments ensuring quality.
  • Drive the creation of Enterprise Events Program and global Developer Community roadshows.
  • Develop scalable frameworks for co-hosted and partner events.

Requirements

  • You have 6+ years of experience running professional events.
  • Comfortable owning $2M+ event program budgets.
  • You have experience with startup or enterprise marketing events, conference programs, or developer events.
  • You’re comfortable working in ambiguity and have experience building event programs in fast-paced environments, ideally in tech.
  • You care deeply about details and craft, and notice things others don’t.
  • You’re highly operational and can manage multiple complex workstreams, with agency and production partners.
  • You have strong taste and judgment about what makes an experience feel exceptional.
  • You thrive in an in-person environment and are energized to be closely embedded with the team.
