Responsibilities

• Assist with event setup, execution, and breakdown for community outreach initiatives
• Engage directly with attendees and share information about nonprofit programs and community initiatives
• Support event logistics, materials, schedules, and attendee engagement activities
• Represent nonprofit partners professionally while helping strengthen overall brand awareness
• Assist with promotional activities designed to increase brand visibility and event participation
• Support outreach efforts that help expand each nonprofit partner's brand presence throughout the Birmingham market
• Collaborate with fellow Event Assistant team members to ensure events align with brand standards and campaign goals
• Track attendee engagement and event activity to support future brand development efforts

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Interest in events, communications, marketing, public relations, or brand awareness
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable interacting with attendees in face-to-face environments
• Organized and capable of managing multiple responsibilities
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor
• Previous experience in events, hospitality, customer service, retail, outreach, or promotional roles is helpful but not required
