Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including invoices, gathering and effectively communicating event details, to overseeing the event day of and ensuring seamless execution from start to finish
  • Develop comprehensive marketing plans for each event, utilizing digital channels, social media, and traditional outreach to maximize attendance and engagement
  • Negotiate contracts with entertainment providers to secure favorable terms and quality services
  • Oversee event promotion campaigns, including creating promotional materials, coordinating advertising efforts, and leveraging community partnerships to boost visibility
  • Provide exceptional guest services during events by addressing inquiries promptly and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our brand values
  • Maintain detailed records of contracts, contacts, event timelines, and post-event evaluations to inform future planning
  • Coordinating all aspects of various events while working with a team to ensure every detail is laid out

Requirements

  • Proven experience in event planning or hospitality roles such as banquet management, restaurant operations, hotel services, or fundraising environments
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure advantageous deals while maintaining positive vendor relationships
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies specific to event promotion and brand positioning
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, team members, and guests effectively
  • Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Experience in budgeting and financial management for events or hospitality operations
  • Familiarity with contracts, invoices, guest services, and hospitality standards is highly desirable
  • Ability to demonstrate time management skills in fast-paced environments while maintaining high-quality service standards
