Job Summary
Own the editorial machine for a regulated healthcare audience, turning strategy, expert insights, and live events into measurable growth across memberships, sponsorships, and engagement.
- Editorial ownership: strategic calendar, daily forward-looking content, and audience-focused topics.
- Content velocity to revenue: convert expert-authored content and sponsored pieces into measurable engagement and business outcomes.
- Platform expansion: broaden podcasts, webinars, and multimedia while optimizing SEO and distribution with marketing.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Build editorial strategy & calendar aligned with membership, events, and revenue goals
- Lead daily content (news, analysis, insights) with an intentional, forward-looking approach
- Expand contributed content from medspa operators, medical pros and industry experts
- Deepen legislative & market coverage (state regulations, trends, M&A, capital flows)
- Edit and oversee sponsored content to ensure quality and credibility
- Partner with marketing on SEO and content distribution
- Track engagement and tie content directly to business outcomes
- Organize and activate existing content (webinars, articles, resources)
- Lead podcast & multimedia strategy
- 7–10+ years in editorial, content, or media leadership (B2B preferred, healthcare a plus)
- Strong editorial instincts + ability to translate complex topics into clear insights
- Experience building content strategies tied to growth and revenue
- Fluency in SEO, analytics, and performance optimization
- Comfortable working with subject matter experts in regulated industries
- Experience in the medical aesthetics, healthcare, or other regulated industries preferred.
- Direct experience in agenda development for live events preferred but not required.
