Job Summary

Own and drive the end-to-end e-commerce SEO program for the US/Canada storefront, leading keyword architecture, technical health, content strategy, and authority-building initiatives to deliver double-digit organic revenue growth.

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives across responsibilities to improve rankings and page performance.
  • Translate analytics into actionable plans for page-level optimizations and sprint deliverables.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Commercial Keyword Architecture & Search Intent Mapping: You will conduct exhaustive keyword research identifying the exact language North American consumers use when exploring, comparing, and purchasing streaming hardware. This includes structuring high-converting category and product pages around primary commercial queries (such as authorized dealer terms, warranty validation, and model comparisons), while systematically capturing long-tail informational searches related to cord-cutting, setup tutorials, and firmware optimization. You will ensure every URL on our storefront aligns with precise search intent without cannibalizing sibling pages.
  • Technical SEO & Storefront Performance Optimization: Working directly with our web development team, you will audit and preserve our storefront’s technical health. You will monitor and resolve crawlability bottlenecks, indexation bloat, canonical anomalies, and faceted navigation pagination issues common in online stores. You will champion Core Web Vitals across both mobile and desktop experiences, ensuring that visual assets, schema markup (Product, Offer, Review, FAQ, Organization), and JavaScript execution speeds adhere strictly to Google’s search algorithms.
  • Content Strategy & Topic Cluster Development: You will design the content blueprint for our internal copywriting team and review their output for organic effectiveness. Rather than publishing generic articles, you will architect authoritative topic clusters that establish SuperBox for TV as the definitive resource for streaming box setup, troubleshooting, model feature comparisons, and cable-alternative guides. You will refine on-page factors including heading hierarchy, internal linking architecture, metadata CTR optimization, and semantic keyword integration using modern NLP-driven analysis.
  • Authority Building & Digital Outreach: You will devise white-hat link acquisition and digital PR initiatives that build enduring domain authority. You will identify technology publications, home theater blogs, cord-cutting communities, and consumer electronics reviewers for legitimate backlink placement and brand mentions. You will continuously monitor our backlink profile, disavowing toxic low-quality links and keeping our site insulated against algorithmic core updates.
  • Analytics, SERP Tracking & Conversion Reporting: You will track day-to-day keyword movements, click-through rates, and organic conversion funnels using industry-standard platforms. You will translate raw analytics from Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, and enterprise SEO tools into actionable executive briefings. When algorithmic updates occur, you will proactively evaluate traffic shifts, isolate impacted landing pages, and implement swift recovery protocols.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of dedicated hands-on SEO experience managing e-commerce storefronts targeting US or Canadian consumers.
  • Documented history of driving double-digit organic revenue growth, elevating transactional category pages to Page 1 rankings, and navigating major Google Core Updates.
  • Prior experience within electronics, tech hardware, or consumer gadget niches is an exceptional advantage.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard audit and tracking suites, including Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog SEO Spider, Sitebulb, Google Search Console, and GA4.
  • Practical working knowledge of e-commerce platforms (Shopify or WooCommerce/WordPress).
  • Ability to read and critique HTML, CSS, JavaScript rendering impacts, and JSON-LD structured data.
  • Familiarity with modern content optimization platforms (such as SurferSEO or Clearscope) is highly valued.
  • Strong analytical thinking and communication skills; ability to present complex technical recommendations to non-technical stakeholders and manage sprint deliverables.
  • Hardware & Workstation: A dependable desktop or laptop running Windows 10/11 or macOS equipped with at least 16 GB of RAM and a modern multi-core processor capable of handling large-scale data crawling and multi-tab analysis.
  • Internet Connection: A secure, high-speed internet connection with at least 50 Mbps download and 15 Mbps upload to support cloud database manipulation and video sync calls.

Benefits

  • Complimentary Hardware: A complimentary flagship SuperBox unit (S7/S8) is provided upon onboarding so you can fully evaluate product features and user search journeys.
  • Tooling & Resource Budget: Access to enterprise-grade SEO suites, web crawlers, and AI-assisted content auditing software provided by the company.
