Job Summary

Own and accelerate the online storefront by managing Shopify, Amazon, and lightweight social content to drive immediate sales, while keeping the site fresh and locally optimized and ensuring on-floor fulfillment readiness.

  • Shopify/Amazon & Social: Maintain storefronts and create low-cost, organic social content highlighting local manufacturing to drive orders.
  • Site & SEO Ops: Update WordPress with new photos, optimize local keywords, and refresh project pages.
  • Fulfillment & Assembly: Print labels, pack orders on the shop floor, and assemble parts as they come off the line.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Launch Hive Bins (80% of your time): Manage our Shopify storefront, list our products on Amazon (Merchant Fulfilled), and create low-cost, organic social media content (TikTok/Reels/Facbook/Instagram) highlighting our local manufacturing process to drive immediate online sales.
  • Maintain Cale-Engineering (20% of your time): Update our WordPress website with fresh photos of our CNC machinery, optimize local SEO keywords, and update projects on the website.
  • Order Fulfillment: Print shipping labels and package early online retail orders right here from our shop floor.
  • Assembly: Latches and lids are put together as they come out of the machine before they are ready to package.

Requirements

  • Tech Savvy: Basic experience navigating or managing Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, or WordPress websites (no coding required).
  • Content Basics: Ability to take clean smartphone photos and edit short-form videos for social media.
  • Self Starter: Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision to meet goals.
  • Detail Oriented: Organized enough to handle web data updates and manage physical product shipping.
  • Must be reliably able to commute to our shop in Colorado Springs.
