Responsibilities

• Write clear, engaging product descriptions, social media posts, and short web copy that follow our brand voice guidelines.
• Proofread and edit content for grammar, accuracy, and consistency before it goes live.
• Support keyword research and apply basic SEO practices with guidance from senior team members.
• Assist the marketing team with campaign content and help keep the content calendar up to date.
• Upload, format, and organize content in our content management system (e.g., WordPress or Shopify).
• Research competitors and industry trends and share findings with the team.
• Incorporate feedback from teammates to refine and improve your work.
• Help with light image edits or simple graphics using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite as needed.

Requirements

• Strong written English and a genuine interest in writing for online audiences.
• Excellent attention to detail in grammar, spelling, style, and tone.
• Some exposure to content writing, social media, or marketing—through coursework, internships, volunteer work, a personal blog, or a portfolio—is helpful but not required.
• Basic familiarity with social media platforms and how brands communicate online.
• Comfortable learning new tools; prior CMS or SEO experience is a plus, not a must.
• Reliable, organized, and able to manage tasks independently within a part-time schedule.
• Collaborative attitude and openness to feedback.

Preferred

• Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools is a bonus.
