Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage the editorial calendar across Instagram, YouTube, and Pinterest.
  • Turn the founder’s footage, YouTube episodes, ideas, voice notes, and existing work into platform-native short-form videos, carousels, captions, and posts.
  • Edit short-form video with a strong command of hooks, pacing, storytelling, transitions, and audience retention.
  • Create elevated branded graphics and carousels using established Canva templates.
  • Publish and manage content across Instagram, YouTube, and Pinterest.
  • Collaborate directly with Cynthia on short-form concepts, content-capture needs, YouTube topics, titles, thumbnails, and ideas with strong performance potential.
  • Upload and publish completed YouTube episodes, including titles, descriptions, thumbnails, chapters, links, and supporting details. Long-form video editing is handled separately.
  • Manage comments and daily audience engagement across social platforms.
  • Identify valuable questions, themes, language, and emerging conversations within the audience and use them to inform future content.
  • Add and maintain relevant ShopMy and affiliate links so featured products and brands are easy for the audience to find.

Requirements

  • Three or more years of professional experience creating and managing content for a founder, creator, public-facing expert, or personality-led business.
  • Demonstrated responsibility for growing a personal brand through content, rather than simply maintaining an existing account.
  • Strong hands-on short-form video editing skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Instagram and YouTube, including audience behavior, publishing best practices, retention, and performance analysis.
  • Pinterest experience is a plus.
  • Genuine fluency and taste in beauty and skincare, including products, treatments, brands, creators, aesthetics, and current industry conversations.
  • The ability to personally create strong social content, not only develop strategy, film, photograph, schedule, or publish.
  • Excellent editorial judgment and the ability to identify the strongest idea within raw material.
  • A strong ear for founder voice and the ability to preserve and sharpen it across platforms.
  • An understanding that successful content must do more than generate views. It must grow the audience, deepen trust, create demand, and support revenue.

Benefits

  • Paid time off
  • Paid company holidays
  • Paid sick leave
