Responsibilities

• Conduct door-to-door canvassing in assigned neighborhoods to introduce our organization’s programs or campaigns
• Engage residents with friendly, clear, and persuasive face-to-face communication to inform and educate about our services or causes
• Collect feedback, answer questions, and address concerns from community members in a professional manner
• Utilize mobile devices to record interactions, update contact information, and track outreach progress accurately
• Build rapport with diverse populations by demonstrating strong conversational engagement and active listening skills

Requirements

• Proven experience in field sales, canvassing, or outdoor marketing activities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage in meaningful face-to-face conversations
• Customer service background that emphasizes respectful and effective interaction with the public
• Familiarity with mobile devices for data entry and communication purposes
• Outdoor work experience that demonstrates resilience and adaptability in varying weather conditions
• Experience in fundraising, community engagement, telemarketing, or door-to-door sales is advantageous
• Skilled in negotiation and conversational engagement to motivate participation or donations
• Comfortable walking extensively outdoors using transportation methods such as walking or biking
• Bilingual abilities to communicate with diverse communities are highly valued
