Responsibilities

• Distribute door hangers in targeted neighborhoods, ensuring clear visibility and accessibility
• Engage with residents and community members through friendly, conversational interactions to promote awareness of services or campaigns
• Conduct canvassing activities door-to-door to gather feedback or promote community programs
• Use mobile devices to record outreach activities, update contact information, and track progress in real-time
• Negotiate with residents or business owners when appropriate to foster positive relationships and encourage participation
• Support fundraising efforts by engaging community members and explaining campaign goals
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude during outdoor work hours, demonstrating excellent communication skills

Requirements

• Previous experience in field sales, canvassing, or door-to-door outreach is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage face-to-face confidently and effectively
• Supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus for those interested in team coordination roles
• Bilingual abilities are preferred to connect with diverse communities
• Comfortable walking outdoors for extended periods in various weather conditions
• Customer service experience that emphasizes respectful and active listening
• Familiarity with using mobile devices for data entry and communication during outreach activities
