Job Summary

Coordinate and optimize donor communications and data to drive engagement and reliable giving, translating program impact into clear stories and ensuring consistent, compliant outreach across channels.

  • Donor communications execution: direct mail, acknowledgements, newsletters, impact reports, and campaign messaging.
  • CRM and data quality: maintain donor records, tracking, preferences, and segmentation to improve outreach accuracy.
  • Cross-team storytelling and engagement: partner with Communications Manager and programs to craft donor-facing narratives and timely external updates.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute all donor-facing communications, including direct mail appeals, acknowledgements, newsletters, impact reports, and campaign messaging.
  • Keep donor emails current.
  • Support Director of Communication in translating program outcomes into clear, compelling stories that highlight impact and transformation.
  • Support staff in executing donor touchpoints, impact updates, and special acknowledgements or donor-specific outreach.
  • Manage donor tracking in the CRM, including list management and communication tracking.
  • Enhance donor information for more accurate outreach.
  • Provide weekly reports to directors.
  • Ensure accuracy of donor communication preferences and outreach records.
  • Manage donation processing:
  • Process incoming donations, including contacting donors to update credit card information, administer end of year giving statements, and manage thank-you process.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in database management.
  • Experience with CRM platforms and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively across teams.
